Heldebald Tyrannus (also known as Christopher Lee, Hugo Tyrannus, Tyrannus, Dracula, Count Dracula, and Lord Summersisle) was a vampire-human hybrid politician, soldier, musician, actor, businessman, dictator and intelligence agent who founded the Vampire Council and served on the Council of Evil.
Born to a human-vampire hybrid soldier in the Roman Empire and a vampire Princess who was said to be a descendant of one of the original Celestials, Tyrannus was born into a life of a nobleman. At some point in his adulthood, he attempted to find as many vampires as he could and founded the secret society called the Vampire Council, which he hoped would keep vampires united.

Heldebald Tyrannus was born in eastern Europe during the time of the Roman Empire. His father was a human-vampire hybrid who served the Roman Empire as a soldier and his mother was a vampire Princess who was said to be a descendant of one of the original Celestials. As such, Tyrannus' life during his upbringing was mostly a privileged one. At some point in his adulthood, he attempted to find as many vampires as he could and founded the secret society called the Vampire Council, which he hoped would keep vampires united.
